Kaley and Brad

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE doing the First Look with couples? You know, when they have a chance to see each other before the wedding, have some time to talk and laugh and hang out in their wedding best without throngs of people all around, trying to get a little piece of attention from them? I cannot say enough about this newfangled way of doing wedding pictures. It makes the whole day go a bit more smoothly and it is such a wonderful chance for the bride and groom to take a breath and enjoy eachother. I wish we had done a first look, heck, I wish all my brides would do it. Not to be pushy, but hint hint, if you happen to read my blog and are considering getting married in the next while and are also considering hiring me to do your wedding photography, I may or may not try and cojole you into seeing your mate before the wedding. But enough unabashed plugging for first looks, lets get on to Kaley and Brad, who chose to do their wedding pictures two weeks before the big day and it was RADICAL (don't like me using 80s slang terms? You will have to take it up with Brett, he is the one that got me saying it. It may or may not be better then hearing me say "off the hook" though, you be the judge) I felt like I was watching a fairy tale unfold before my eyes as Brad saw his bride for the first time.

I love this photo, Brad had just realized that there was an inscription in his ring to him from his new wife, it was such a sweet moment!

In case you are wondering, she is laughing because I acidentally said a swear word.
