WPPI and Tonsils

I only have a few minutes to write, as I am leaving for the slaughter house/surgery center in a little while. I am having my tonsils removed and fed to the sharks later today so anyone who really dislikes me when I am sick (its ok, I know, I am extremely unpleasant, just ask my sister Kacey) feel free not to call but I do appreciate prayers and positive energy. If you can stand my sarcastic and whiny attitude, I will gladly accept and respond to text messages since it has been brought to my attention today that I may not be able to speak. I am sure Paige will be in heaven when she realizes I won't be lecturing her about anything for the next two weeks. I am trying to stay optimistic, and am in my mind considering this as a tonsilectomy/weight loss procedure. My doctor said he had a guy lose twenty pounds last month when he had his out. TWENTY POUNDS! I will keep you posted on how things go in that department if you are interested.

On to WPPI, it was fantastic, but it didn't start out that way. I got a speeding ticket on the way to the airport. I of course imediately texted Mike to tell him the good news, and he relayed the message that I was being pulled over to Paige, who instantly said, "she was probably driving too fast again, daddy." (tattletale) Then at the Las Vegas airport, a parking ticket. And on top of it all, I wasn't eligible in my $35 dollar hotel credit at the MGM because of some fine print. After some swears (you know I love my swears) we girls decided to put it all behind us and have fun, and we did. We went to some fantastic classes, got a ton of free stuff and walked about a million miles. I felt really inspired by the women I was with and I feel really grateful for all of the support and friendship, we laughed and cried and had some wonderful girl time. OH and now for the best news of all, I won $$ at Roulette! Not a lot of money but some money, thanks mostly to the very strategic advice my friend Michelle gave me which was to choose numbers that corresponded with my childrens birthdays. Couple that with crossing fingers and toes and doing a "please please please" dance and you cannot lose, it is foolproof!

So all in all, an amazing time! I love all you girls and I am already counting down till next year, hopefully to be joined by a few more of you workshop gals! Ok, here I go to the gallows....
