Ty and Linda

Linda and Ty are the nicest people on Earth. I am proud to post some previews from our session this afternoon. We went to the International Peace Gardens and although I thought we may end up throwing Linda over a chain link fence, nine months pregnant and all because the gate was locked, we managed to find a way in. We had some delicious light, and of course Linda is the most beautiful pregnant person, she absolutely glows so I thought that some of these pictures were entirely appropriate with the sun blazing behind her gorgeous belly. Not one stretch mark, although Ty did come close to losing his life by trying to point one out:) I know I have said it before but I need to reiterate how much I love it when people laugh at my jokes, funny or not, and these two did not dissappoint. So thanks you two, for humoring a vain woman! You are going to be wonderful parents and we can't wait to meet baby Jada!

Some pictures I forgot to post

I was just going through and backing up some of my old files and realized that I have a ton of pictures I did this fall that I didn't post, so now, since everyone deserves to see their pictures on a blog that isn't theres at some point in their lives, here they are.

Man, its just one of those days..

Ever feel like swearing at your computer screen for no good reason? Ever have your four year old feel the need to tell you ten to twelve times that we don't say the word (fill in the blank) because you can't seem to stop being irritated? Thats me the last couple of days. Is it because the afore mentioned four year old told her teacher on their way to a fieldtrip that her car was filthy and she better clean it out soon (followed up with "oh and your windows are disgusting, don't forget to wash them while you are at it..)? Is it because my baby ate too many mandarin oranges and due to a tummy incident I not only had to scrub her down but the entire changing station in the middle of Paiges karate class? Is it because I have Lost fever and am now withdrawing until next Wednesday? I don't know, it could be a combination of all of these things but I will tell you one thing, I have the winter blahs. Any of you moms out there relate with me this week? Don't be shy, share a comment with the class. Even Mia is feeling it. I had to snap this picture of her playing with my phone yesterday in between bouts of grumpiness, her look sums up how I feel.

Lost is Back!!

I know, I am a total nerd but I love Lost and I don't care who knows it. I am not big on reality shows, have never even watched an entire episode of Dancing with the Stars, I have never even seen an episode of CSI but ever since the very first episode I have been hooked on the fate of those unaturally beautiful castaways on an inexplicably dissappearing/reappearing island off the coast of who knows where. An island full of polar bears and sadistic disembodied voices where food drops from the sky and wounds are mysteriously healed without medicine. I love Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Jin, Sun, Charlie, Claire and Hurley and all the rest of them. You may remember that my second daughter is named Mia Claire and while I cannot honesly say that she wsa named directly after the Claire in the show, we do say the name with a touch of an Ausralian accent becuase it sounds so pretty. So there you have it faithful readers, my winter passion. Anyone interested in a Lost party?
